It's a universal truth that every season is beautiful in its own way.Summer is the most suitable season for holidays and vacations. People enjoy bright summer days if they are in the country or at the riverside.
People like to rest on islands on the Volga. There are lots of them and they and they are all different. Some are small, practically without trees, some are very large and forests are situated on them. Every summer my family and I invite our best friends to live on one of the islands. I prefer the smallest ones, because than you'll live on the island alone, without neighbors. Each family takes children and their pats. It's very fun to live there! You can fun and swim all day long, you can also play badminton, volleyball and polo. In the evening there are usually songs near the campfire. If there is a forest on the island, you can even gather mushrooms. What is it a holiday on the river without fishing? Women of our camp usually go fishing early in the morning, while men fish in the evening. We often go to catch lobsters, which see to be very tasty! Living on the island, in my opinion, is the best holiday, but as the proverb says, there is no place like home!
The majority of the people can not get out for city, go on Volga, and stay in the city. One of most favourite places of the townspeople is the Quay. It lasts some kilometers along Volga. Where in greens of trees the set of flower lawns, diversified forms and colours is seen. Here is easily breathed and is well had a rest. And as sunset is beautiful late in evening!
When summer is over, I always feel sorry, because it was too short and was too quick to pass!
